Sunday Chess Club

A magazine feature published on 16 June 2026 describes the social community, which plays chess at picnics on the Han River and over meals and wine, and reports a chess boxing event it held on 24 May. A blitz tournament page that links to the club's Instagram gives an Insadong Blitz Chess Tournament dated 23 October 2026 in the basement lounge of a hotel in Jongno-gu (up to 16 players, entry fee 25,000 won for non-members and 10,000 won for members). The club meets at varying places (the Han River, restaurants, event venues) and none of its sources prints an address of its own; the Jongno-gu hotel is the venue of one tournament, so the district stays as Seoul.
